The Story of Gradiantglo

It all started when we were walking through a flea market in Jefferson County. We saw a vendor selling clear gel candles. She told us that the 'gel' was made from common houshold chemicals, that it was basically the same formula as 'napalm'.

After doing some research, and ordering supplies (you can mix the 'gel' at home, but it is safer for everyone if use the pre-mixed), and experimentation of the various scents, colors, etc., we began manufacturing our candles in our kitchen. We called them 'Gradiantglo Love Candles', because of the romantic glow as they light a room, and because they last a really long time.

We have fun with researching curious things, we suck at marketing the results of that research. Mostly, currently, we still make the candles for our own benefit. And we are still curious.

My fiancee, Kim, loves to take pictures, and she's very good at it. I like electronic anything, so I go through a lot of experimentation with digital cameras. I found a lot of pictures being collected on various hard drives, but it isn't easy to share them with others. I also wanted to learn how to build / maintain a website.
